Life is Strange: Episode 4 Dark Room Review | GameCloud

"When I finished episode four, I felt sick to my stomach. For a game that plays with so many clichés, it never ceases to amaze me how each episode still manages to surprise and draw me in further. Dark Room pulls at your heartstrings from the very beginning and doesnt hesitate to kick you when your guard is down. Its a feeling Ive only ever experienced while playing The Walking Dead, and now I sit here anxiously writing as I begin the wait for the finale. Things that used to bother me about earlier episodes dont anymore, and its rewarding to see solid continuity across the series. Its still quirky at its core, but Ive crossed all barriers of disbelief to immerse myself. Theres no stoping now!"

NZG:
Rebuild 3: Gangs of Deadsville is the third in the series of zombie-strategy flash games from Sarah Northway, of Northway Games. Its the first actual PC-downloadable game in the series. (The others were released as flash games on free-to-play Kongregate, and Rebuild 2 also on iOS and Android).
The developers have dubbed Rebuild 3 as Sim City meets The Walking Dead. The comparison does seem apt. Its a city builder / people manager with an interesting story, a pleasing art-style, and great gobs of humour.

Similar to movie tie-ins, games based on TV shows are also known for an overwhelming lack of polish and quality, so much so that many players simply disregard them as soon as they hear the word adaptation. Of course, this notion is not entirely unfounded, as we have seen some truly terrible iterations of well-known shows (The Walking Dead and Star Trek, just to name a few), but fear not, since not everything that comes out of the small screen is garbage. Here are our top 5 games based on TV which are actually a damn good time.

The Walking Pet is Ketchapps latest frustration-maker for the iOS and Android. You control a pet animal, initially a cat, who is trying to walk on its hind legs in order to get as far as possible, as well as collect strawberries for food (and currency, hah) along the way. Its frustrating and addicting, as each tap takes one step and your pets tend to not be very sure on their feet.
